Guided by a lifelong fascination with both structure and spirit, my work is a bridge between two worlds. As a former Architect and Interior Designer, my journey shifted from designing physical spaces to filling them with feeling. Today, I capture the vibrant, emotional energy found in nature and the human experience, transforming silent canvases into responsive, kinetic stories.
Using a meticulous layer of acrylics, mirrors, and rhinestones, I create works that are both visually complex and deeply resonant—designed to shift and change with the light of your home. Biography
Jasmine Sedani works in a language of light. Gold, gemstone, mirror, and rhinestone are built up in raised dot-work and texture, so that every surface catches and shifts with the slightest change of angle — a painting that's never quite the same twice. Her subjects range widely — luminous abstracts, florals, and sacred portraits — but the through-line never changes: light made physical.
Professional Foundation
Trained in India as an architect and interior designer, Jasmine earned a Bachelor of Architecture alongside specialized certifications in Interior Design. Her early career was spent designing and building residential and commercial spaces — work grounded in a single conviction: that a well-made space can create harmony, calm, and a sense of belonging. That architect's eye for line, proportion, and structure still underpins every canvas she paints today.
The Creative Transition
As her family grew, Jasmine turned to designing educational spaces — shaping playful, character-filled environments where learning felt like joy, and taking her first steps into expressive, large-scale art. In 2014 she relocated to Orlando, Florida, and a lifelong love of fine art finally became her full-time practice.
Artistic Vision
Central Florida's restless light — its constant play of shadow and shine — animates everything she makes. Drawing on an architect's instinct for balance and rhythm, Jasmine composes each piece to come alive with the light of the room it hangs in, holding fleeting moments of grace — a celestial migration, the quiet symmetry of a flower — still and luminous.
Exhibitions & Recognition
Since turning to art full-time, Jasmine has become an active voice in Florida's art community. Across 2025 and early 2026 she exhibited in five regional shows, including the Lake Sumter Art & Craft Festival and the Lake Nona Arts Festival. Most recently, she was selected for the Emerging Artists Program at the prestigious Coconut Grove Arts Festival — a marker of a rising talent in the contemporary art scene.
Artist’s Statement
The Vision
I paint with color as a language — for emotion, for memory, for the beauty we usually move too fast to notice. My aim is simple: to catch a fleeting moment of grace and hold it still, so it can be lived with.
The Foundation
I came to art through architecture. Years of designing spaces taught me the discipline of line, proportion, and structure — but paint is where I let that precision loosen into feeling. That's the through-line in everything I make: structure underneath, color on top.
The Process
Every piece is built, not just painted. I layer fluid acrylic for form and emotion, then set mirrors, rhinestones, and gilded dots into the surface so the work answers to the light around it. Nothing sits flat — each piece shifts and shimmers as you move, never quite the same from one moment to the next.
The Invitation
The name says it: a golden horizon, and the bright chroma — pure color — rising from it like a star. That's what I chase in every canvas: the endless possibility of light and color. Look past the surface, and find your own story in the reflection.
